In cases where the back yard flooding is an issue we can install a Parks' back yard drainage
system. Usually, it consists of a basin which is installed in the lowest spot of the yard, and
drainage piping through which the water from the back yard drains toward the street.
This system can be more complicated than described above, and is usually customized to
fit the individual needs of the homeowner. Depending on the village or city where the problem occurs - there are different ways of fixing it. Sometimes it requires installing a well with drainage gravel around it, in other cases it requires pumps, sometimes we can even connect downspout lines to the yard drainage system.

| It is important to remember that yard drains need to be installed according to the city/village codes and regulations, and have to be designed so that water drainage does not cause issues somewhere else once it is drained from the floodec yard. The best way to approach the problem is to carefully inspect and examinne the affected property, and then design a system that will take care of the problem.
